Cruise Control Switch

Disable air bag system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. Disconnect negative battery cable. Cruise control switch is integral with multifunction switch. Disconnect multifunction switch harness connector.
Check resistance between specified terminals of cruise control switch with switch in specified position. See CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH RESISTANCE TEST table. See Fig 1. If resistance is not as specified, replace cruise control switch.
