Power Seats: Troubleshooting

Verify customer concern by operating power seat. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage. Inspect seat control switch, seat tracks for obstruction or damage, battery junction box fuse No. 25, central junction box fuse No. 26, power seat circuitry and power seat motors. Repair or replace as necessary. If no obvious problem is evident, repair by symptom. See SYMPTOM INDEX  table under SYSTEM TESTS.
