Mode 2: EGR System Repair Verification

1. Perform Drive Mode 1 first. See MODE 1: PCM ADAPTIVE MEMORY PROCEDURE .
2. Verify all accessory loads (A/C, headlights, blower fan and rear window defroster) are "OFF".
3. Drive the vehicle as specified. See Fig 1.
4. Stop the vehicle and access to On-Board System Readiness menu to check the drive mode completion status. See ON-BOARD SYSTEM READINESS TESTS ACCESS PROCEDURE .
   • If completed, RFC changes from "NO" to "YES".
   • If not completed, turn the ignition key to "OFF", Then go back to step  3.
5. Access to Diagnostic Monitoring Test Results menu to check the monitor results. See DIAGNOSTIC MONITORING TEST RESULTS . If measurements are not within specification, repair has not been completed.
6. Verify no DTCs are available.
