Instrument Cluster System Outline

The instrument cluster performs a display prove out to verify that all warning/indicator lights and monitored systems are functioning properly.

With the ignition in RUN and the engine off, the following indicators (if equipped) will illuminate:

• Check engine/Malfunction indicator light (MIL).
• Check gauge indicator.
• Charging system warning indicator.
• Anti-lock brake indicator (ABS).
• Seat belt indicator.
• Air bag indicator.
