Hood Alignment
NOTE:
- Do not cover up a poor hood alignment with a hood lock adjustment.
- Raise and support the hood.
- Mark the current position of the hood hinges.
- Loosen the hood hinge bolts (four each side) enough to allow the hood to be moved.
- Move the hood as needed to correct the misalignment.
- Tighten the bolts.
Tightening torque
10-14 N.m (8-10 ft.lbf) .
