Fan Control Module

  1. Remove the two bolts from the fan control module with the connectors still connected.
  2. Start and warm up the engine.
  3. Monitor the engine coolant temperature with the Worldwide Diagnostic System (WDS) scan tool (or equivalent).
  4. Measure the voltage at the terminal "B" of cooling fan motor connector from the harness side as shown. See Fig 1 . See FAN CONTROL MODULE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
  5. If not as specified, replace the fan control module.
