Shift Mechanism Removal/Installation
- Remove the front console. (See CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the TWC. (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- After installation, verify that the gear shift lever operates smoothly when the clutch pedal is depressed.
