Water Pump Removal/Installation: Notes

Drain the engine coolant. (See COOLING SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS .) (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT .)
Remove the fresh air duct and air cleaner. (ZM model)
Remove the exhaust manifold insulator. (ZM model)
Remove the timing belt. (See TIMING BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FS] .)
Remove the P/S oil pump with the oil hose still connected. Position the P/S oil pump so that it is out of the way. (ZM model)
Remove the A/C compressor and A/C compressor bracket with the pipe still connected. Position the A/C compressor so that it is out of the way. (ZM model)
Remove in the order indicated in the table.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
