Smart Junction Box (SJB)

Removal and Installation
- Prior to the removal of the SJB, it is necessary to upload module configuration information to a diagnostic tool. Once installed this information needs to be downloaded into the SJB. See MODULE CONFIGURATION .
- Disconnect the battery. See BATTERY DISCONNECT .
- Remove the right side and top of the floor console as needed to access the SJB. See FLOOR CONSOLE -- HIGH SERIES .
- Disconnect the five electrical connectors.
- Remove the retaining screw.
- Remove the SJB from the vehicle.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Once the SJB is installed, it is necessary to download the module configuration information from the WDS or equivalent Tester into the new module. See MODULE CONFIGURATION .
