Smart Junction Box (SJB)

CAUTION: Removal and Installation
  • Prior to the removal of the SJB, it is necessary to upload module configuration information to a diagnostic tool. Once installed this information needs to be downloaded into the SJB. See MODULE CONFIGURATION  .
  1. Disconnect the battery. See BATTERY DISCONNECT .
  2. Remove the right side and top of the floor console as needed to access the SJB. See FLOOR CONSOLE -- HIGH SERIES .
  3. Disconnect the five electrical connectors.
  4. Remove the retaining screw.
  5. Remove the SJB from the vehicle.

  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Once the SJB is installed, it is necessary to download the module configuration information from the WDS or equivalent Tester into the new module. See MODULE CONFIGURATION  .
