Removal and Installation

Remove the air bag sliding contact. Refer to CLOCKSPRING .
Remove the multifunction switch. Refer to STEERING COLUMN MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH .
Remove the windshield wiper/washer switch. Refer to WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER SWITCH .

Disconnect the gearshift cable.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Disconnect the wiring harness from the gear shifter assembly.

Remove the bolts and the gearshift lever assembly.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
