PINPOINT TEST 1 - IGNITION SWITCH INOPERATIVE

PINPOINT TEST 1		IGNITION SWITCH IS INOPERATIVE
STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	CHECK THE POWER SUPPLY TO THE IGNITION SWITCH Key OFF. Disconnect ignition switch connector C-250. Measure the voltage between ignition switch connector C-250 pin 2, circuit Y and ground. Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?	Yes	Replace the ignition switch. See IGNITION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION . Test the system for normal operation.
1		No	Repair Y wire. Test the system for normal operation.
