Installation Note

Use the Axle Bearing/Seal Installer SST 49 UN01 028 and Driver Handle SST 49-F027-003 to replace the RH axle tube bearing.

Set bearing depth as shown.

Use the Axle Bearing/Seal Installer SST 49 UN01 028 and Driver Handle SST 49-F027-003 to replace the axle seal.
CAUTION:
- Care should be taken not to damage the axle seal surface.

Install the axle shaft.
Refill the front drive axle to proper level using axle lubricant meeting specification API Service GL-5.
Install the RH driveshaft; see DRIVE SHAFT, FRONT AXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
