Rear Heater Core Inspection

  1. Inspect for cracks, damage, and coolant leakage.
    • If any are found, replace the rear heater core.
  2. Inspect for bent fins.
    • If any are bent, use a flathead screwdriver to straighten them.
  3. Verify that the rear heater core inlet and outlet are not distorted or damaged.
    • If they are distorted or damaged, repair then using pliers.
