Removal and Installation

Remove the hood latch release handle bolts.
Remove the hood latch. For additional information, refer to HOOD LATCH .

Remove the two hood latch release handle cable locators.
NOTE:
- The hood latch release handle cable must be pulled through the dash panel into the passenger compartment.
Remove the hood latch release handle.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
