Instrument Cluster Module Configuration
NOTE:
- The instrument cluster and the smart junction box (SJB) must be reconfigured upon replacement. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (IC) REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE - WDS .
The instrument cluster is a configurable, hybrid electronic cluster (HEC) that contains a microprocessor, gauges, indicator lamps, and internal circuitry. The following items must be configured when installing a new instrument cluster:
- seat belt telltale
- seat belt timeout
- base door ajar tone
- check fuel cap
- transaxle type
- speedometer (US or European)
- engine type
- transaxle not in park chime
- key reminder chime
- default language
- ABS
- 4x4
- oil change reminder
- turn signal on reminders
- park brake on chime
- message center button press chime
