DTC P1622 [AJ] DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	VERIFY RELATED REPAIR INFORMATION AVAILABILITY Check for related Service bulletins and/or online repair information availability. Is any repair information available?	Yes	Perform repair or diagnosis according to the available repair information. If the vehicle is not repaired, go to the next step.
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY DTC P1622 DETECTED AGAIN Clear the DTC from the memory using the WDS or equivalent. Turn the ignition switch off, then start engine. Is same DTC present?	Yes	Go to the next step.
2		No	Go to Step 4.
3	CHECK IF ENGINE IS STARTING NORMALLY USING ANOTHER REGISTERED KEY Does engine start with another registered key?	Yes	Previous key is defective. Discard it.
3		No	Go to the next step.
4	VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC P1622 COMPLETED Clear the DTC from the memory using the WDS or equivalent. Turn the ignition switch off, then start engine. Is same DTC present?	Yes	Replace PCM, then go to the next step.
4		No	Go to the next step.
5	VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE Perform the "After Repair Procedure". (See AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE .) Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE .)
5		No	Troubleshooting completed.
