Water Pump Removal/Installation: Notes

Remove the battery and battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [AJ] .)
Drain the engine coolant. (See COOLING SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS .) (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT .)
Remove the water pump drive pulley. (See WATER PUMP DRIVE BELT PULLEY REMOVAL NOTE .)
Remove in the order indicated in Fig 1.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
