Selector Lever: Removal

Disconnect the battery. BATTERY DISCONNECT .
Place the floor shift selector lever in the (D) position.

Gently pry up to remove the upper shift lever trim ring.

NOTE:
- It may be necessary to apply the parking brake in order to remove the top finish panel.
NOTE:
- If necessary, disconnect the electrical connector from the finish panel.
Remove the top finish panel.

Remove the shift cable from the gearshift assembly.

- Disconnect the shift cable end from the gearshift lever.
- Remove the shift cable from the bracket.
Remove the shifter.

- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the 4 bolts and remove the shifter.
