The air induction system supplies filtered air to the engine to mix with the fuel for combustion purposes. The air induction system consists of:

• The engine air cleaner
• The air cleaner element
• The air cleaner outlet tube
• The mass air flow (MAF) sensor
• The throttle body
• The intake plenum

The engine air cleaner:

• Is chemically treated, pleated paper
• Filters the engine intake air
