DTC P1500 (MZI-3.5) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

| DETECTION CONDITION |
- Indicates the VSS input signal was intermittent. This DTC is set when a VSS concern interferes with other OBD tests, such as the catalyst efficiency monitor, the EVAP monitor, or the HO2S monitor.

| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- Intermittent sensor connections
- Intermittent open in the sensor wiring harness circuit(s)
- Intermittent short in the sensor wiring harness circuit(s)
- Sensor malfunction
