DTC P0297 (MZI-3.5) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

DTC P0297	Vehicle over speed condition
DETECTION CONDITION	P0297 indicates that the vehicle has been operated in a manner which caused the engine or vehicle to exceed a calibration limit.
POSSIBLE CAUSE	Wheel slippage (water, ice, mud and snow). Excessive engine rpm in neutral. Vehicle drive at a high rate of speed.
