DTC P0462 (MZI-3.5) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

| DETECTION CONDITION |
- The PCM monitors the fuel level input communications network message for a concern. The test fails if the fuel level input signal is less than the minimum allowable calibrated parameter for a specified fuel-fill percentage in the fuel tank.

- Empty fuel tank
- Fuel pump malfunction
- Incorrectly installed fuel gauge
- Instrument cluster malfunction
- Fuel gauge malfunction
- Fuel level input signal circuit malfunction
