  • Communication status to climate control unit

02 OK  Communication to all unit (audio unit, climate control unit, instrument cluster) is normal.
Audio unit OK ACU  Communication to audio unit is normal.
U0 184 ACU  Communication error to audio unit. (DTC U0184)

None ACU  Vehicle without audio unit.
Climate control unit OK EMC  Communication to climate control unit is normal.

Check code 04 

CHECK CODE INSPECTION CHART (CHECK CODE 04)

Check code 04 TNS relay ON/OFF signal
STEP INSPECTION CONDITION DISPLAY ACTION
1 Turn the headlight switch to the TNS position. (TNS relay ON) ON  Go to the next step.
OFF  Verify that the voltage of information display terminal C is B+  .
  • If the voltage is as specified, replace the information display.
  • If the voltage is not as specified, inspect the following parts:
    • TNS relay
    • Wiring harness (Battery-TNS relay-information display)
2 Turn the headlight switch off. (TNS relay OFF) ON  Verify that the voltage of the information display terminal C is 1.0 V or less  .
  • If the voltage is as specified, replace the information display.
  • If the voltage is not as specified, inspect the following parts:
    • TNS relay
    • Wiring harness (TNS relay-information display)
OFF Input signal to the information display is normal.

Check code 09 

CHECK CODE INSPECTION CHART (CHECK CODE 09)

Check code 09 Clock switch signal
STEP INSPECTION CONDITION DISPLAY ACTION
1 Do not operate the clock switch. 227 | 255  Go to the next step.
Except above Go to Step 5.
2 Press the H switch, and hold. 070 | 084  Go to the next step.
Except above Go to Step 5.
3 Press the M switch, and hold. 102 | 117  Go to the next step.
Except above Go to Step 5.
4 Press the :00 switch, and hold. 000 | 003  Clock switch is normal.
Except above Go to the next step.
5 Inspect the clock switch.
  • If there is any malfunction, repair or replace the wiring harness or connector.
  • If there is no malfunction, replace the information display.
