Visual Inspection
- Remove the CMP sensor. See CAMSHAFT POSITION (CMP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI-3.7] .
- Verify that there are no metal shavings on the CMP sensor.
- If it is a malfunction, replace the CMP sensor. See CAMSHAFT POSITION (CMP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZI-3.7] .
