Key Interlock System Inspection
- Switch the ignition to ON.
- Inspect the key interlock system.
- If there is any malfunction, inspect the interlock solenoid. See
KEY INTERLOCK SOLENOID INSPECTION .
- Verify that the ignition cannot be switched to off when the selector lever is not in the P position.
- Verify that the ignition can be switched to off when the selector lever is in the P position.
- If there is any malfunction, inspect the interlock solenoid. See
KEY INTERLOCK SOLENOID INSPECTION .
