Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor Removal/Installation - 3.0L

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. See LIFTING .
2. Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the bolt and the CKP.
   • To install, tighten to 10 N.m {1.0 kgf.m, 89 in.lbf}.
   • Inspect the O-ring seal and install new as necessary.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   NOTE:

   • Lubricate the CKP O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
