Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) Switch Inspection

  1. Verify that the CPP switch is installed properly.
  2. Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 WITH TC] .)
  3. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  4. Disconnect the CPP switch connector. (See CLUTCH PEDAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Inspect for continuity between the CPP switch terminals using an ohmmeter.
