Selector Lever Component Removal/Installation: Notes

  1. Remove the battery cover, battery duct, battery, battery box, battery tray and PCM component. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3] .)
  2. Remove the air cleaner component. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3] .)
  3. Remove the side wall.
  4. Remove the heat insulator (front and center).
  5. Remove the selector lever knob and indicator component.
  6. Remove the center console. (See CENTER CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  7. Remove the rear blower motor. (Vehicle with rear blower unit.) (See REAR BLOWER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER] .)
  8. Remove in the order indicated in the table in illustration.
  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
