Visual Inspection
- Remove the CKP sensor. (See CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Verify that there are no metal shavings on the sensor.
- If there is a malfunction, replace the CKP sensor. (See CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Install the CKP sensor. (See CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
