Accessory Socket Removal/Installation: Front

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the upper panel. (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the shift knob. (MTX) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the selector lever knob. (ATX) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Remove the shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  6. Remove in the order indicated in the table in illustration.

  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
