DTC B108B:29 (ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

DESCRIPTION Mismatch state of push button start 1 and 2
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • A combination of the push button start 1 and 2 signals is abnormal.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • Push button start connector or terminals malfunction
  • Keyless control module connector or terminals malfunction
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals:
    • Push button start terminal A-Keyless control module terminal 2B
    • Push button start terminal B-Keyless control module terminal 3Q
  • Short to power supply in wiring harness between the following terminals:
    • Push button start terminal A-Keyless control module terminal 2B
    • Push button start terminal B-Keyless control module terminal 3Q
  • Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
    • Push button start terminal A-Keyless control module terminal 2B
    • Push button start terminal B-Keyless control module terminal 3Q
  • Push button start malfunction
  • Keyless control module malfunction
