DTC P081D:62 (ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Mis-match signal between CAN and neutral switch |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- Neutral switch signal is detected as continuously ON in spite of vehicle speed increasing from 0 km {0 mph}
to 10 km/h {6.2 mph}

- CAN and neutral switch signals do not correspond when the ignition switch is ON.

| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- Multiplex communication system DTC is stored
- Neutral switch connector or terminals malfunction
- Open circuit in the wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Neutral switch terminal B-Body ground
- Neutral switch malfunction
- Keyless control module connector or terminals malfunction
- Short to ground in the wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Neutral switch terminal A-Keyless control module terminal 4X
- Short to power supply in the wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Neutral switch terminal A-Keyless control module terminal 4X
- Open circuit in the wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Neutral switch terminal A-Keyless control module terminal 4X
- Keyless control module malfunction
