Hood Latch Switch Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the hood latch. (See HOOD LATCH AND RELEASE LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Press the latch in using a Flathead screwdriver to inspect the latch lever condition.

Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.
- If not as indicated in the table, replace the hood latch.
