Selector Cable Adjustment

Remove the negative battery cable.
Remove the rear console. (See REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Shift the selector lever to the P position.
Unlock the lock piece of the selector cable (selector lever side) in the order as shown in the illustration.

Verify that the manual shaft is in the P position.

Lock the lock piece and safety lock of the selector cable (selector lever side) in the order as shown in the illustration.
