Key Reminder Switch Inspection [Without Advanced Keyless Entry And Start System]

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the column cover. (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the key reminder switch connector.
Inspect for continuity between the key reminder switch terminals using a tester.
- If there is any malfunction, replace the key reminder switch.
