PCM inspection preparation
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the battery and battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L5] .)
- Remove the windshield wiper arm and blade. (See WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the cowl grille. (See COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the windshield wiper motor. (See WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the cowl panel. (See COWL PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the PCM bracket with the PCM connector still connected. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Install the battery and battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L5] .)
- Connect the negative battery cable.
