Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor Removal/Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the charge air cooler duct. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the under cover.
  4. Remove the splash shield (RH).
  5. Disconnect the CKP sensor connector.
  6. Remove the installation bolts to remove the CKP sensor.
