Non-Return Valve Inspection

Remove the fuel pump. (See FUEL PUMP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
NOTE:
- The non-return valve cannot be removed as it is built into the fuel tank.
- The non-return valve is normally closed due to spring force.
Verify that the non-return valve opens/closes through the fuel pump installation hole.

If it does not open/close or return to the normal position, replace the fuel tank. (See FUEL TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
