Neutral Switch Removal/Installation
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5] .)
- Remove the battery and battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5] .)
- Remove the aerodynamic under cover No.2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Drain the transaxle oil from the transaxle. (See TRANSAXLE OIL REPLACEMENT .)
- Disconnect the neutral switch connector and remove the neutral switch and gasket.
- Install the neutral switch (with a new gasket) to the transaxle case.
Tightening torque
- 20-29 N.m {2.1-2.9 kgf.m, 15-21 ft.lbf}
- Connect the neutral switch connector.
- Install the battery and battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5] .)
- Add the specified amount and type of transaxle oil. (See TRANSAXLE OIL REPLACEMENT .)
- Install the aerodynamic under cover No.2. (See AERODYNAMIC UNDER COVER NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Connect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.5] .)
