Shift-Lock Solenoid Inspection

CAUTION:

Water or foreign objects entering the connector can cause a poor connection or corrosion. Be sure not to drop water or foreign objects on the connector when disconnecting it.

Disconnect the selector lever component connector.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the rear console. (See REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Disconnect the selector lever component connector.

According to the table, measure the voltage between selector lever component terminals and body GND.

If there is any malfunction, repair or replace the related wiring harness.
If there is no malfunction, replace the selector lever component. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
