Trunk Lid Open Cancel Switch Inspection

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF] )
2. Remove the trunk end trim. (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
3. Remove the trunk lid open cancel switch. (See TRUNK LID OPEN CANCEL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
4. Inspect for continuity between the trunk lid open cancel switch terminals.
   • If not as specified, replace the trunk lid open cancel switch.
