Front Console Box Removal/Installation: MTX

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable, (with commander switch) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL .) (See UPPER PANEL INSTALLATION .)
    2. Shift lever knob (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R] .)
    3. Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Insert a remover tool in the position indicated by the arrow (1) in the figure and detach clip (1).

  4. Insert a remover tool in the position indicated by the arrow (2) in the figure and detach clip (2).

  5. Remove the front console box in the direction of the arrow (3) shown in the figure while detaching guide.

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
