DTC P0715:00 Input/turbine speed sensor circuit malfunction
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • Input/turbine speed sensor signal is not input while vehicle is traveling at speed of 41 km/h {26 mph} or more

    Diagnostic support note 

  • The check engine light illuminates if the TCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
  • The automatic transaxle warning light illuminates if the TCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
  • PENDING CODE is available.
  • FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
  • The DTC is stored in the TCM memory.
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION 
  • Inhibits shifting from 3GR to 4GR
  • Inhibits TCC control
  • Inhibits feedback control
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • Input/turbine speed sensor connector or terminal malfunction
  • Short to GND in wiring harness between input/turbine speed sensor terminal B and TCM terminal AB
  • Short to GND in wiring harness between input/turbine speed sensor terminal A and TCM terminal Y
  • Short to power supply in wiring harness between input/turbine speed sensor terminal B and TCM terminal AB
  • Short to power supply in wiring harness between input/turbine speed sensor terminal A and TCM terminal Y
  • Input/turbine speed sensor malfunction
  • TCM connector or terminal malfunction
  • Open circuit in wiring harness between input/turbine speed sensor terminal B and TCM terminal AB
  • Open circuit in wiring harness between input/turbine speed sensor terminal A and TCM terminal Y
  • TCM malfunction
