- Input/turbine speed sensor signal is not input while vehicle is traveling at speed of 41 km/h {26 mph} or more
Diagnostic support note
- The check engine light illuminates if the TCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
- The automatic transaxle warning light illuminates if the TCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
- PENDING CODE is available.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
- The DTC is stored in the TCM memory.

| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- Input/turbine speed sensor connector or terminal malfunction
- Short to GND in wiring harness between input/turbine speed sensor terminal B and TCM terminal AB
- Short to GND in wiring harness between input/turbine speed sensor terminal A and TCM terminal Y
- Short to power supply in wiring harness between input/turbine speed sensor terminal B and TCM terminal AB
- Short to power supply in wiring harness between input/turbine speed sensor terminal A and TCM terminal Y
- Input/turbine speed sensor malfunction
- TCM connector or terminal malfunction
- Open circuit in wiring harness between input/turbine speed sensor terminal B and TCM terminal AB
- Open circuit in wiring harness between input/turbine speed sensor terminal A and TCM terminal Y
- TCM malfunction
