Fuel Pump Control Module Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0] ).
  2. Tip the rear seat (LH).
  3. Disconnect the clip connected to trunk board.
  4. Disconnect the fuel pump control module connector.
  5. Remove the fuel pump control module.
  6. Install the fuel pump control module using the following procedure.
    1. Insert the bracket tabs into the installation holes in the order shown in the figure.

    2. Temporarily tighten bolt A.
    3. Temporarily tighten bolt B.
    4. Tighten bolts A and B to the specified torque.

      Tightening torque 

      8-11 N.m {82-112 kgf.cm, 71-97 in.lbf} 

  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
