DTC P050A:00 DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES (SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5)

| DETECTION CONDITION |
- The actual idle speed is lower than expected from specified for 9.0 s
when the target idle speed correction value for cold start is above 0 RPM
or ignition retard value is above the specified value.
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (cold start emission reduction strategy monitoring).
- The check engine light illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition in two consecutive drive cycles or in one drive cycle while the DTC for the same malfunction has been stored in the PCM.
- PENDING CODE is available if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during first drive cycle.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2)/Snapshot data is available.
- DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
