Resistance Inspection
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Remove the plug hole plate. (Refer to PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Remove the intake manifold. (Refer to INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Disconnect the KS connector.
- Remove the KS. (Refer to KNOCK SENSOR (KS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Measure the resistance between KS terminals A and B.
- If not as specified, replace the KS. (Refer to KNOCK SENSOR (KS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Specification
- 504-616 kilohms [10-30 °C {50-86 °F}]
- If not as specified, replace the KS. (Refer to KNOCK SENSOR (KS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
