Condenser Inspection

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Discharge the refrigerant. (See REFRIGERANT CHARGING .)
- Remove the front under cover No. 1. (See FRONT UNDER COVER NO. 1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Remove the radiator. (See RADIATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Remove the condenser. (See CONDENSER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Inspect the condenser for cracks, damage, and oil leakage.
- If there is any malfunction, replace the condenser. (See CONDENSER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Visually inspect for bent fins for restriction or foreign matter.
- If any fins are restricted, remove the foreign matter.
- Visually inspect for bent fins.
- If any fins are bent, use the end of a flathead screwdriver to straighten fins.
