Bass-Box Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the trunk covering. (Refer to TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the trunk board. (Refer to TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the short-cord connector. (Refer to BASS-BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Verify the resistance between bass-box terminals.

- If not within the specification, replace the bass-box.
