Condenser Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Trunk covering (Refer to TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Trunk board (Refer to TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Trunk side pocket (Refer to TRUNK SIDE POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Trunk end trim (Refer to TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Rear scuff plate (Refer to REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    6. Third-row seat cushion (Refer to THIRD-ROW SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    7. Third-row seat back component (Refer to THIRD-ROW SEAT BACK COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    8. Trunk side trim (Refer to TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    9. D-pillar trim (Refer to D-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    10. Adjust anchor cover on the second-row seat belt (Refer to SECOND-ROW SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    11. Upper anchor installation bolt on the second-row seat belt (Refer to SECOND-ROW SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    12. C-pillar trim (Refer to C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    13. Assist handle (rear) (Refer to ASSIST HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Partially peel back the headliner.
  4. Disconnect the connector.

  5. Remove the bolt.
  6. Remove the condenser.
  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
