Shift Panel Removal/Installation

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the selector lever knob. (Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Hold the shaded area shown in the figure, remove the shift panel in the direction of the arrows in the order of (1), (2) while detaching clips A and clips B.

Disconnect the connector.

Remove the shift panel.
Remove the front console box when replacing the shift panel while detaching the clips.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
